He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sharkey and Rita Sharkey; his son Timothy Michael Sharkey; and his brother Tom Sharkey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, James P Sharkey of West Creek, NJ and Maura J. Fegel (Gerald) of Kingsland, GA; his siblings, Brian Sharkey (Maurene), Suzanne Valla (Eugene), Jeanne Lovett, Rita Lyons and Marybeth Sharkey (Jack); and his grandchildren, Emily, James D., Sean and Olivia. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
