He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kaplan and Margaret Kaplan. He is survived by: his wife Toni Kaplan; his daughter Jennifer Burrous (Rachel); his granddaughter Mackenzie Riley Berkowitz; his stepdaughter Tiffany Nicole Thomas (Ira); his sister Dorinee Sherman; and his siblings-in-law, Tina Lisa Carroll and Arcillo Martin Rhette. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
