He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio DeMeola and Pia DeMeola; his siblings, Mary, Angie, Nancy, Mario, Pat and Jerry; and his brother-in-law Frank Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Doris DeMeola; his sons, Anthony (Christine) and Robert (Maria); his grandchildren, Maxwell, Christian, Mia and Julian; his nephews, Ronald Masino (Fran) and David Boyd (Annette); and his sister-in-law Sandra Boyd.
