With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George R. Van Vliet of Little Falls, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Vliet and Katherine Van Vliet (Fink); his sisters, Gretchen and Louise; and his mother-in-law Mary.

He is survived by: his friend John; his wife Nancy; his children, Michael (Nancy) and Lori; his granddaughter Rebecca; his caregivers, Connie, Cynthia and Ronnie; his sister Margaret (I. W.); and his friend May. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
