We bid farewell to Nancy L. Bayda of Little Falls, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 2, 2026 at the age of 93. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Nancy has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold B. Lorden and Anna M. Lorden (Brannan); her husband Nicholas Bayda; and her son Nicholas B. Bayda. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Anne Bayda (Nicholas Bresnak); and her pet Dorrie. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gaita Memorial (154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, NJ 07424). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Little Falls Public Library, 8 Warren Street, Little Falls, N.J. 07424, and/or Associated Humane Societies, 124 Evergreen Avenue, Newark, N.J. 07114.
