We announce the death of Evalyn Patricia Spiess Dykman of Livingston, New Jersey, who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 94. Evalyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harriett Spiess and Joseph Spiess; her husband Arthur Dykman; and her sister Helen Krasne. She is survived by: her children, Avery, Douglas (Cori) and Robert (Ruth); her grandchild Lindsay Straff (Jordan); her children, Jessica Galin (Jeff Holt), Tylar Tannenbaum (Adam), Jordan, Monique and Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Owen Straff and Jacob Tannenbaum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Evalyn's memory to either Tovah.org or Parkinson.org.
