He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carlton Bailey and Marcella Falconer; his wife Eileen Bailey (Cable); his sisters, Dolores Landon and Marilyn Courter; and his brothers-in-law, Russell Landon and Michael Courter.
He is survived by: his sons, James Bailey III (Adrienne Noel) of Hillsboro, NH, Thomas Bailey of Livingston, NJ and John Bailey (Valerie Bailey) of Dingman Ferry, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Crystal Bailey, James Bailey IV, Jessica Bailey, Alyssa Mills (Bailey), Ashley Bailey and Johnny Bailey. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Philomena's Catholic Church (286 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039).
