Rose A. Olischar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose A. Olischar of Livingston, New Jersey, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Olischar; her parents, William and Martha (LaBau); and her siblings, Steven DeVito, Marie Arminio and Michael DeVito.
She is survived by: her children, William G. Olischar (Susan) and Karen A. Josephsen (Craig); and her grandchildren, William T. Olischar, Steven K. Olischar (Jackie) and Jenna R. Olischar (Shaun Kilby). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Prout Funeral Home (370 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ 07044). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Philomena Roman Catholic Church (386 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery (326 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006).
