He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Avnet and Helen Avnet; his stepmother Rose Schulman; and his sisters, Janice and Diane Avnet.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta; and his siblings, Sherry Mattushik, Francis Tedesco, Arlene Dempsey, Joanie Mullaney and Sandra Avnet.
