It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Bennett Jr. of Long Branch, New Jersey, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Anita Santos Rios-Cole; his parents, Alfred Bennett Sr. and Irene Bennett; and his sisters, Shirely Jones, Jill Bennett and Bernice Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Josephine Bennett; his children, Julio Santos Rios (Cindy) and Allonda Bennett; his grandchildren, Alicia George (Darius), Allison Cole, Eugene Morales, Julio "Augie" Santos-Rios, Sarah Saguay (Felix), Julian Santos-Rios, Nakkiya Chandler and Zakkiya Chandler; his great grandchildren, Gia Morales, Alondra Cole, Anila George, Leo Santos-Rios, Anastasia Saguay and Athena Santos-Rios; and his sisters, Esseline Booker and Joan Daniels. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
