It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annie Parrish (Long Branch, New Jersey), born in Fairfax, South Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reather Hosendove, and James Hosendove, Sr.; her brothers, James Hosendove, Jr., Eddie Hosendove, Sr. and Frank Hosendove; and her husband John L. Parrish.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Hosendove (James) of Florida, Elaine Akins, Pamela Jenkins Neptune (Fred), Herman Akins (Sophia) of California, Jennifer Rice Neptune and Ulysses Jay Akins (Cheryl) of Georgia; her goddaughter Dawn Bowles-Fitch Neptune (Darren); and her granddaughter Lorrie Hosendove (Frank). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
While most of the world was shut down due to the COVID -19 pandemic, Mother continued her ministry of outreach via telephone from the list of patients provided from the Chaplin's office and sending birthday card to those in nursing home facilities to ensure God's touch to so many, as she lived Matthew 28:19-20.
