terri gildea wrote a sympathy message

“When looking back upon the 26 years spent living in Shadow Lawn Manor, years that were well lived, well loved, both Barbara & Bob come to mind as my wonderful neighbors. Through the years we shared many "driveway" conversations, many stories of family updates, many laughs. Barbara was a vibrant force of nature who positively glowed as she spoke of her family, of the adventures and accomplishments of her much loved children and ' Grands.' Reflections of a joyful, loving woman. RIP, Barbara Terri Gildea”

Gloria Pagano wrote a sympathy message

“We met Barbara through the “circle people” at Takanassee and Deal Casino. She would pop in and out with stories to tell and books that she’d read, always having something interesting to share. Mostly she liked to share stories about her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of them all. Afternoons at the beach will never be the same. She will be missed. Our deepest sympathies, Gloria and Tom Pagano”

Meyers Family wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry for your loss. I am a LB girl - born and raised - but moved away soon after college. I would return every summer and meet up with my best friend Susie Hayes. We would meet up in the mornings to walk the boards and inevitability catch up to Barbara as she walked extremely fast!! Barbara always made a point to welcome me “home” as if I never left. As the years went on, the summers found us on the Deal Casino beach catching up and sharing glasses of wine. I will miss her energy!”
