He is survived by: his children, Alexander Carter Unger, Holly Low, Emma Winter and Nora Asbury; his siblings, Alan Unger, Christine Schefman and Cornelia Blanchard; and his grandsons, Carter and Dennis Low.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home (236 Monmouth Rd, Oakhurst, NJ 07755).
