She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mitchell and Ella Mitchell; her brothers, Edward Gutridge and Henry Mitchell; and her husband Alan McCormick.
She is survived by: her former husband Curtis Gatson; her children, Curtis Mitchell, Malcolm Gatson of Cliffwood, NJ and Holly Gatson of Lake Wales, FL; her sister Hazel Gutridge of Old Bridge, NJ; and her grandchildren, Latashia Mc Ghee, Alexis Mitchell, Jelesa Gatson, I, Saleem Gatson, Khalil Haskins, Kasani Haskins and Kaiden Haskins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
