Gary Throckmorton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Throckmorton (Long Branch, New Jersey), who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Throckmorton and Amelia Juska Throckmorton; and his brothers, Jimmy, Preston, Eugene and Kenny.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda Vitale; his significant other Wendy Peterson; his children, Lauren Landau, Gary Throckmorton Jr. (Lisa) and Michelle Specia (Steve); and his grandchildren, Emma, Lucas, Cooper and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Long Branch Elks Club (150 Garfield Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Oakhurst/Long Branch Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the Long Branch Elks Club, or your choice of an organization supporting Veterans, in memory of Gary.
