She was predeceased by: her parents, Margret Granton and William L. Bates; her brothers, William Jr., Harold, Robert, Edward and Ellsworth; and her children, Monte, Hope and Franklin.
She is survived by: her daughter Nadine Morris; and her sister Jewanta Jamieson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Salem Baptist Church (114 3rd Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
