We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 83, James M. Carthy Jr. (Long Branch, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Carthy Sr. and Helen E. Carthy (Beckley); and his siblings, Russell and Ruth Carthy. He is survived by: his wife Joyce L. Carthy (Fornicola); his children, Kimberly L. (Andrew Chiovaro Sr.), James J. Carthy and Nadine J. Carthy (Mike Fraser); his grandchildren, Damien Carthy and Dean Carthy (Vania); his great grandchildren, Trevor and Sofia; and his sisters, Judy, Jackie and Liz.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Autism Speaks or Saint Jude Hospital for Children in memory of James.
