She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Logan Wright and Allan Wright; her spouse Willie Platts; her children, Anthony (Pee Wee), Gordon (Ricky), Clifton (Pookie), Delores (Dee Dee), Joyce and Jeanette; her siblings, Barbara Stokes, Jean Hastings, Wanda Andino and Victor Turner; and her grandsons, Anthony (Tony), Morgan and Harold Wright (Keith).

She is survived by: her cousin Spike; her niece Julia (Boo); her children, Stanley, Willie (Skeets), Oral, Eric (Teresa), Oriene (Tinkie) and Allison Platts; her siblings, Crystal Rogers of Oceanport, NJ and Wayne Turner (Elliott) of Columbus, OH; her close friends, Lolita Smith Merrill, Jean Savage and Cecil McConville; and her godchildren, Jerome (Peter), Maurice, Kendall and Kent. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
