She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Williams and Edith Williams; her siblings, Oscar Williams Jr., Chester Williams and Patricia Ann Martin; and her daughter Tonya Lauria Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Willie Thompson; her daughters, Shonda McLeod of Fayetteville, NC and Sherri Thompson of Fayetteville, NC; and her grandchildren, Rhonda N. Mayo (Randy) of Fayetteville, NC, Sharika Baril, Nathaniel Bolden of Long Branch, NJ and Ronald "Little Buddy" McLeod Jr. Orlando. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (243 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
