He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Schito and Hugo Schito; and his wife Lucille. He is survived by: his children, Mario Jr. (Denise Schito) of Freehold, Lisa (Michael Vitale) of Middletown and Toni (Larry Liskiewicz) of Long Valley; and his grandchildren, Giovanna, Marina, Alexandra, Isabella, Brianna, Christina, Madison, Michael, Brooke and Claire. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leo (50 Hurleys Ln, Lincroft, NJ 07738). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Cemetery Holmdel Mausoleum (900 Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733).
