It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Rose Penta (Long Branch, New Jersey), who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. McGinnis and Ruth McGinnis (Thomas); her husband Garry M. Penta; her nephew Eric Ayalik Pelly; and her brother-in-law Paul P. Gallagher.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marcy McGinnis, Laurie Pelly (Quebec), Janet Mercadante (Long Branch), Susan McGinnis (Point Pleasant Beach), Joseph McGinnis (Patricia) of Hallendale, FL and Mark McGinnis (Marlton NJ); her nieces and nephews, Michelle, Jackie (Alex), Rosie (Bill), Elizabeth (James), Christine (Chris), Ellen (Jordan), Brian, Kevin (Mallory), Joe and Dan; her great-nieces, Sydney, Bella, Emma and Savannah; her siblings-in-law, Joe Forino and Patty Quinn McGinnis; and her cousin Penta.
