We announce the death of Merva D. Reed (Farmingdale, New York), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 93. Merva will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Kenney and Margaret Hilda Kenney (Smith); her sons, Glenn Anthony Kenney and Brian J. Reed; her daughter-in-law Yolanda Perez-Reed; her granddaughters, Brianne T. Reed, Haley A. Reed and Taja N. Kenney; and her siblings, Juanita, Yvonne, Ruth, Mildred, James, Harold, John and Fredrick.
A reception was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
Merva's family has kindly requested that no flowers be sent in her memory.
