He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Wright and Paul Thomas Carter Sr.; and his brothers, Michael Carter, Paul Carter, Thomas Carter Jr., Charles Carter and C. B. Carter.
He is survived by: his child Telissa Brionna Forrest; his stepchildren, Dejhon Knighton and Tyler Knighton; his fiancé Britney Mills; and his siblings, Krystal Carter, Kia Carter, Marissa Carter, Monique Carter, Brian Carter, Joe Carter, Larry Carter, John Carter, Jerome Carter, Ron Carter and Perry Carter. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (243 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
