With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan DeLuca (Long Branch, New Jersey), born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Susan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Philip; her daughter Nicole; and her siblings, Catherine Georgy, Judith El Nabarawi and Thomas Barrett, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Anton; her goddaughter Laura E. Petillo; her nephews, Michael, Matthew and Joshua Georgy; and her brothers, John D. Barrett and Daniel F.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Damiano Funeral Home (191 Franklin Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the King Parish (408 Prospect St, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
