He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Allen Boykin, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Carol Savage; his stepfather Joel Savage; his siblings, Harold Gibbons, Douglas Aaron Boykin and Robyn Inez Boykin; his siblings' children, Isaiah Gibbons, Hayden T. McCullough, Carter J. McCullough and Fraya E. Crane (Ben); his great-nephew Jethro C. Thompson; and his great-nieces, Alyssa Crane and Piper R. Thompson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (243 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
His final act of giving was donating his organs to the Gift of Life program.
