He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Martinsen and Joyce Baker Martinsen; his son Nicholas William Martinsen; and his stepmother Mary Louise Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Amy Pasola Martinsen; his son Bruce Martinsen (Parsie); his pet Frankie; his siblings, Laura DeMarinis, Darlene Gialanella-Lagana, Dwayne and Marty Martinsen; his nieces and nephews, Ronald Maver, Matthew Gialanella, Stephen Martinsen, Michelle Martinsen, Alexandra DeMarinis, Jessica McGowan, Emily Pasola, Claire Munley, Alexandra Pasola, Drew Munley, Max Pasola, Colin Munley, Teddy Jonsson, Sarah Jonsson and Anthony Jonsson; and his friends, Stanley Schanck, Sam Vitrano and Guillermo Marcial. He is also survived by many other great nephews and nieces, in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society, ASPCA, Saint Jude, Veterans organizations or Ronald Mc Donald house, all of which Tim regularly donated to and supported.
