He is survived by: his wife Rita Dorothy Kreil; his siblings, Otis Wathington (Patricia), Alphonso Wathington (Marilyn), Mary Johnson and Patricia Lee Wathington; his children, Jack Uzzalinno (Kim Whigham) of Florida, Tanita Faye Wathington (Paul Thomas) of Maryland, Desireè Wathington-Diggs (Tom Diggs Jr.) of New Jersey, William Wesley Wathington Jr. of Pennsylvania and Otis Russell Wathington (Tina McCammon) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Kayla Russell, Quanisha Wathington, Justin Russell (Jana), Tiana Diggs, Izaryah Diggs, Tania Thomas-Wathington, Hadassah Diggs, Christopher Wathington and Charlene Wathington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lawson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (243 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ 07740).
