We bid farewell to Irene Stenger of Long Valley, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 89. Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosalio Mendoza and Hortencia Salgado; her former husband Josef Fettweiss; and her children, Glen David Fettweiss and Olivia Ann Dalessio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karin Fettweiss and Kim Marie DiMascio (Salvatore); her grandchildren, Jason Josef Fettweiss, Thomas Josef Mayhue, Elizabeth Irene Davis, Alexandra Cooper, Jennifer Rose Fettweiss, Melissa Courtney Diaz, Courtney Marie Piatti and Lauren Marie Piatti; her great grandchildren, Catalina Maty Diaz, Izabella Olivia Diaz, Layla Maria Fettweiss, Ronald Josef Cooper, Ezekiel Josef Diaz, Sawyer Daniel Mayhue, Dylan Thomas Mayhue, Finnick Thomas Jedlicka Fettweiss and Thomas James Davis Jr.; and her husband Robert W. Stenger. She is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Mountain RC Church (2 E Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ 07853). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Chapel (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
