He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Juanita White (Dennis), Lester Murphy, Jr. (Sharon), Gerald Murphy (Wanita), Richard Murphy (Eva), Roger Murphy (Lois), David Murphy (Kirsten) and Daryl Murphy (Dawn); and his sister Bessie Hoffman (Murphy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
