With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Ort of Long Valley, New Jersey, who passed away on May 5, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey J. Ort, Sr. and Edith Marie Ort (Barkman); and her siblings-in-law, Perk and Gean. She is survived by: her siblings, Sandra Glass (John), Gladys Stickel (Greg), Barbara Hoskin, Rosemary Drake (Robert), Jacob Ort, Harvey Ort, John Ort (Patty), William Ort (Beth), Wendy Ort and Robert Barkman; and her nieces and nephews, Josh Drake (Jenn), Jennifer (Jed), David (Julie), Bobby (Naomi), Jake (Karen), Tracey, Christine (Paul), Luke (Pam), Aaron, Sandy (Jessie), Ben, Becky (Festus), Samatha, Katherine, Nicole, William (Nicole), Amanda and Sarah (Ryan).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Susan M. Ort Scholarship Fund, for future educators.
