He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Jackson and Annie Jackson; his wife Shirley Jackson; and his sisters, Marsha, Peggy and RoseMarie.
He is survived by: his son Curtis Jackson (Joanne); his siblings, Isaac Jenkins, Linda Jenkins, Patricia Barnwell, Henry Jackson, Alfreida Pettiford and Diane Jackson; and his close friend Beth Shinn. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, along with his honorary grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home (52 Main St, New Egypt, NJ 08533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wrightstown VFW (22 Wrightstown Cookstown Rd, Cookstown, NJ 08511).
