He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael J. and Mary J. Erni (Sabo); his sister Kathleen Negron; and his brother-in-law Thomas Negron. He is survived by: his wife Francine Papero; his daughters, Chris Coyle (Dennis), Cassandra Erni and Francesca Erni; his brother Thomas Erni (Dana); and his grandsons, Michael and Matthew Coyle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Buklad-Merlino Memorial (2141 S Broad St, Trenton, NJ 08610). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
