It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Guy Valentine Sr. of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine and Irving "Slim"; and his sisters, Gail and Rita Valentine. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz"; his children, James Guy Jr. (Bozena "Bo), Michael (Tammy) and Christina "Tina" (Brian Leary); his grandchildren, Christopher James, Ian William and Ella Elizabeth; his sister Valerie L. Daub Sr.; and his goddaughter Maria Anita Carbone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
