It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph P. Pechillo (Lyndhurst, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 20, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joseph. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Sara Pechillo-Jarosz and Dennis Pechillo; his nephews, Joseph Jarosz, George Jarosz and Bob Jarosz (Denise); and his great-niece Brianna.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. (403 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A committal service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Name Cemetery (823 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Church (197 Kingsland Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071).
