He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Rente (Pfluge); his son Mark Rente; and his son-in-law Thomas Wood. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Rente and Brianne Wood; his grandchildren, Joseph Rente, Alexandra Kaduscwicz, Vincent Rente, Trinity Kaduscwicz and Victoria Wood; his siblings, Beatriz Sampedro (Antonio), George (Diane), Joseph (Laura) and Mario (Kim); and his brother-in-law David Pfluge (Ann). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home - Lyndhurst (425 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (197 Kingsland Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071).
