We announce the death of Saverio Mangiola (Lyndhurst, New Jersey), who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parent America. He is survived by: his wife Antonia Barritta; his daughters, Josephine Castro, Caterina Mangiola-Gaetano and Giovanna Mangiola-Maimone; and his grandchildren, Leonardo, Alessandro, Veronica, Sofia and Maya. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home (425 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071). A Mass will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at 259 Oliver St, Newark, NJ 07105. An entombment will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Saverio's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 259 Oliver Street, Newark, NJ 07105.
