He was predeceased by: his siblings, Yonola Kallis, Nick and Francis Makrogiannis. He is survived by: his wife Toula; his children, Milton Makrogiannis and Sandy Makris; his grandchildren, Robert and Dimitri Velasquez; and his sibling Katerina Tzavaras.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
