We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2022, at the age of 87, David J Travis Sr. in Lyons, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Nancy; his wife Louise Melvin Travis; his son-in-law Nelson of Laurel; his grandson Omar of Los Angeles; his son David Jr.; his daughter-in-law Alice of North Plainfield; his daughter June; his son-in-law Lawrence of Burtonsville; his grandson Jordan of Baltimore; and his siblings, Phyllis of Southington, Ada of Dublin, Georgia and Jerry of Baltimore. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the Scholarship Fund at Elmwood United Presbyterian Church.
