It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph J. Stockert of Madison, New Jersey, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on December 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Stockert and Mary Stockert. He is survived by: his sons, Craig Stockert of Hopewell, NJ, Paul Stockert (Colleen) of Loudonville, NY, Thomas Stockert (Odarka) of Millburn, NJ and Steven Stockert (Linda) of Cedar Knolls, NJ; his sisters, Mary Shea, Rita Normand and Lydia Keyes; his grandchildren, Caroline, Ellen, Sophia, Oliver, Karl and William; and his wife Martha "Marty" Melchiori.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and the Stockert family's concern for everyone's well-being, a memorial mass for Joe will be held at a later date when it is safe for everyone to gather and celebrate his life.
