He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Martha. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his siblings, Stephen Palecek (Mary), Geraldine Gargiulo (Neil) and Joan Lachnicht (Harold); his siblings' children, Stephen Ryan, Jennifer Couse (Chris), David Palecek (Dawn), Beth Palecek, Laura Agresta (Edmund), Megan Lachnicht, Kara Neal (Sean) and Krista Gargiulo; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Conor, Julian, Emma, Owen, Elle, Elizabeth, Ethan, Edmund, Giuliana, Chianna, Mackenzie and Averie; his siblings-in-law, Claudia Zebell, Les Moretti (Kimi) and Heidi Duckett (Robert); his children, Blake, Craig (Belicia), Anne, Bryce, Trevor and Robert; his grandson Jahn (Joe Dacchille); and also Beverly Palecek. He is also survived by his family especially his nieces, nephews and their kids.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home (109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richie's name to the Community Food Bank of NJ or PETS FOR VETS.
