Timothy H. Henkler Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Timothy H. Henkler of Mahwah, New Jersey. Timothy, born on January 21, 1954, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Timothy for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henkler and Dorothy Henkler; and his brother Kevin Henkler. He is survived by: his wife Rita Averna Henkler of Warwick; his children, Kristina Rose Lyteson and Timothy Henkler (TJ); his stepchildren, Michael Ward, Kevin Ward and Meghan Cifuentes; and his brother Thomas Henkler. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Timothy's favorite charity was the Wounded Warrior Project.
