He was predeceased by: his brothers, John D. Johnson and Bruce McKendry; and his nephew Alex Kasser. He is survived by: his sister Eileen McKendry; his cousin Edward MaGill; and his sibling's children, John D. Johnson Jr., Owen Kasser, Beth Slack and Gillian Trepp. He is also survived by his many great nieces and great nephews and one great great niece.
