It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Shawn Nielsen (Manalapan, New Jersey), who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his stepdaughter Vanessa Gerrard; and his siblings, Ralph Anania, Laura (Darryl Bennett) and Jon (Mary Ann Nielsen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Freehold (81 W Main St, Manalapan Township, NJ 07728). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
