It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fernando G. Quintela of Manalapan, New Jersey, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Quintela and Manuela Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Caamano Quintela; his children, Freddy Quintela, Nick Quintela (Laura), Monserrat Berman (Keith) and Jessica Quintela; and his siblings, Jose Pedro Quintela, Manuela Quintela, Pindo and Emma Ruge. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higgins Memorial (20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (186 Gordons Corner Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726).
