It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Walter Lindenthal of Manalapan, New Jersey, born in Silver Springs, New York, who passed away on January 7, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Sortore Lindenthal; and his parents, Walter Lindenthal and Charlotte Kershaw Lindenthal. He is survived by: his brother James Lindenthal (Marilyn) of California; his children, Ruth Lindenthal Petran (Roger Olsen) and John Lindenthal II (Kathy); and his grandchildren, James, John, Betsy, Aileen and Annie. He is also survived by 3 great granddaughters.
