Joy E. Scherb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy E. Scherb of Manalapan, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy E. Scherb to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Reed and Edith Reed (Claybourne); her husband John Scherb; and her sister Sandra Fox. She is survived by: her children, Richard Scherb (Vania), Lynn Oppedisano (Joseph), James Scherb and Alan Scherb (Deana); and her sister Barbara Feltus. She is also survived by grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, 4 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
