In the vast expanse of eternity, Kenneth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kenneth farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth J. Plis, Jr.; his parents, Joseph Plis and Mary Plis; and his sister-in-law Nancy Plis (Claude). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Plis of Manalapan; his sons, Brennan Plis (Regina Arevalo) and Levon of Morristown; and his brother Randolph Plis of Forked River. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (186 Gordons Corner Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth's name to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
