Brautigan of Manasquan, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Brautigan, Jr.; her parents, Joseph Gilligan and Constance Gilligan; her in-laws, Clifford, Sr. and Carolyn Brautigan; and her son-in-law Raymond McCartney.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Axelrod (Jeff), Clifford, III Brautigan (Cheryl), Michael Brautigan (Marie), Suzy Pickens (Homer), Karen Long (Michael) and Lynn Bandarra (Michael); her grandchildren, James McCartney (Tara), Maureen Anderson (Gary), Kelley Arrone (Greg), Erin, Sean, Matthew Brautigan, Christopher, Robert, Katie Pickens, Michael (Emily) and Jack Long; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Kevin, Ryan, Raymond, Carolyn, Mary, Raeghan and Madden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the iDefine (Kleefstra Syndrome Foundation) or Friends of Manasquan Parks and Recreation.
