He is survived by: his wife Julie (Burgess); his children, Jennifer (William DeAtley), Bethany Mattson, Daniel (Rachael Mattson) and Jeffrey (Samantha Mattson); his grandchildren, Parker, Brandon, Reagan, Fredrick, Theodore, Henry, Elouise, Jack and Kennedy; and his brother Glenn Mattson.
