He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Gillette and Marjorie Gillette; his wife Evelyn "Lynne" Gillette; and his siblings, Deborah Reeves, Fred Gillette and Dale Gillette.
He is survived by: his daughter Leeanne Pennant; his son-in-law Shane Pennant; his sister Tracy Mortimore; his nieces, Monique Gillette, Jalisa Mortimore and Jazmin Mortimore; and his stepsons, Eddie McLean and John McLean (Carolyn Henderson).
